In this smart and funny musical, the jury (with audience participation) must decide the outcome of the biggest trial ever in the fairy-tale world! The notorious Big Bad Wolf is being slapped in a class-action lawsuit by storybooks of quirky characters who want to get even: Little Red Riding Hood, her grandmother, the Three Little Pigs, and the Shepherd in charge of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. With Sydney Grimm as the commentator on live Court TV, the two greatest legal minds in the Enchanted Forest — the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother — clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after. As our wronged fairy tale characters testify, the wolf seems deserving of all that’s coming. Yet even though the infamous Evil Stepmother resents doing pro-bono work on such an obviously futile defense, Mr. Wolf makes a good case for himself. Was he born a criminal, or made one? CCCS Gym — All Are Welcome

Okay, class, pop quiz time. What do you get when you mix a young substitute teacher with a classroom full of the seemingly dumbest (and funniest) pupils found anywhere? A wise-cracking musical that’s sure to put a smile on the principal’s face, that’s what. When Miss Quackenbush takes over a class at the Little Red Schoolhouse, she soon discovers why the previous teacher had a nervous breakdown. Bad poetry, mice in the lunch boxes, and a student with measles is enough to drive anyone crazy. Unless the likable but hare-brained pupils can pass a simple exam, they won’t advance to the next grade. It’s one inane answer after another as Miss Quackenbush tries to promote this bunch of blockheads outta here. It won’t be easy, though. Only a fool would want to leave this school. Snappy tunes such as ’To Be A Teacher,’ ’Recess’ and ’We’re A Dunce’ will put your production at the head of its class! (Pioneer Drama Services)

Confession is canceled on June 5 because Fr. Michael will be at the Corpus Christi graduation Mass.
