Parish Picnic

Sunday, August 9
Summer is in full swing, and there is no better time to come together as a parish family before school begins! Mark your calendars for our annual Parish Picnic on Sunday, August 9. Whether you are a lifelong parishioner or new to our community, come hang out with old friends and meet some new ones too. Read below to see what we have in store. If you have any questions or are interested in helping out, please reach out to Miki Brierty, Hospitality Coordinator, at mbrierty@oll.org.
A Beautiful Marian Procession
The picnic will kick off immediately following 11:00 a.m. Mass with a procession honoring our Blessed Mother and patron of our parish. Together, we will walk in prayer and song behind a statue of Mary. Bring flowers as an offering to beautify our statue.
The Ultimate Summer Cookout
What’s a summer picnic without incredible food? Our Knights of Columbus grill masters will be firing up the barbecues all morning to prepare classic cookout favorites. We need your help to fill our sides and desserts tables! Bring a delicious family recipe or your favorite summer dish to share.
Live Music and Good Fun
Pack a lawn chair and blankets to have a place to sit and enjoy! Live music will provide the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon for eating, talking, or dancing!

Capture The Memories
We will have a designated photo station with a “special guest” that all are sure to enjoy! See the photo below for a sneak peek. Our “guest” stopped in to our parish office to visit our staff at work. We had a wonderful time swapping stories and talking about our shared roots. We have so much in common: our faith, country, and even some local geography!
