Olive Wood Sale
Farha will be here from the Holy Land to sell olive wood carvings. Shibli is a Christian and he and his family all live in Bethlehem. He comes to Michigan each year to sell Nativity sets, statues, crucifixes, and other carvings. 100% of the proceeds go to support the Christians in his home country.
With the war currently taking place in Gaza and now in Lebanon, this is one way that we can support our fellow Christians. The economy of Bethlehem is about 75% dependent upon tourism. One of the many sad realities of the war is that tourism has stopped in Shibli’s homeland, so selling here in the U.S. is even more important than ever. Everyone is invited to stop by the tables in the hall to start your Christmas shopping early.
