Home and Facility-Based Parishioner Christmas Gifts

Christmas Collection
November 5 – 17
Help bring Christmas joy to our home and facility based parishioners! Thank you for your generosity and support this holiday season.
How to Participate:
- Pick a Tag: Select a tag from the Christmas tree in the Gathering Space (1 – 2 per family).
- Purchase the Item: Please stick strictly to the requested item—all listed items are pre-approved by facility chaplains to meet resident needs. If you cannot provide a specific item, please pick a different tag.
- Bring In Your Donation: Bring your unwrapped item with the original tag attached to the Gathering Space by Tuesday, November 17.
Important Guidelines:
- Yellow Tags: New this year, tree tags on a bright yellow paper are for items to be purchased during the after-Christmas sales.
- Lip Balm: Please select unflavored and unscented varieties only. Photos of acceptable lip balms are posted on the Health Ministry bulletin board for reference. Scented or flavored lip balms cause residents (especially those with dementia) to lick their lips more, leading to painful cracked lips.
Want to deliver gifts? We need volunteers to help deliver gifts in early December! To sign up or learn more, please contact Pat Whitaker, Parish Nurse & Parish Care Coordinator, at x203 or parishnurse@oll.org.
