Advent Retreat: Come, Lord Jesus!
December 1, 12-3 p.m. in the Hall

At this year’s OLL Advent Retreat, we will explore how to open our hearts to truly embrace God’s indescribable gift. This Sunday afternoon retreat is open to parishioners of all ages and stages in their faith journey and will include the following activities:
- Lunch and fellowship in the hall
- A presentation by Pedro Gomes
- Children’s Advent activities
- A service project for Catholic Charities West Michigan
- The Liturgy of the Hours and Eucharistic Adoration
RSVP to Cory Lakatos, Director of Community Life, by November 24. We also need volunteers, so please let us know if you can help with set-up, food service, and/or clean-up. We hope to see you there!
Pedro Gomes has spent the past ten years working in Catholic social programs around the world, including work with the Salesian Sisters in Mozambique and ministry to street youth in South Africa and rural communities in the Brazilian Amazon. He spent the past four years working at Catholic Charities West Michigan.
