What’s a Guild?

At OLL, guilds are social groups centered around an activity, devotion, or cause. They allow parishioners with common interests to come together for fellowship and fun informed by our faith.

Guilds at OLL are inspired by the guilds of medieval Catholic cultures, which were like a cross between a prayer society, a support group, and a social club. Different guilds at our parish combine these three functions in different ways. Guilds are open to all, including guests, though some are for specific demographic groups (women, men, young adults, retired persons, etc.).
