Town Hall Meeting for Pastoral Planning Results

Wednesday, April 16, 7:30 p.m.

Please join us for a town hall meeting in Fr. Nash Hall, where we will host a follow-up to the meeting we held in January. We now have a drafted plan of the criteria needed for vital parishes, which was shaped and formed with input from priests, religious, parish leaders, and parishioners. Our meeting will present, discuss, and vote on the draft of this plan. All are encouraged to attend and help us discuss the next step of the process.

It has been more than a decade since the Diocese of Grand Rapids has undergone a pastoral planning process. As circumstances have changed and new opportunities have arisen, it has become clear that a new plan is needed to direct us into the future. Pastoral planning seeks to identify fertile ground for future evangelization efforts while addressing critical realities. This process will involve data collection, parish visits, and dialogue to identify challenges facing our parishes, schools, and the diocese, along with exploring opportunities for growth and evangelization.

In addition to our regular Confession schedule, we will offer more opportunities to receive the sacrament as we near Easter.Click here for a full list of additional times.
