Town Hall Meeting for Pastoral Planning

Please join us for a town hall meeting in Fr. Nash Hall to discuss our deanery’s vision for the future. This meeting is part of the current diocesan pastoral planning process called “Rooted in Christ.” The Diocese of Grand Rapids needs everyone’s input in order to carry out the mission of Jesus and the Church in the future. This is a bottom-up process where nothing has been decided ahead of time and everyone has a role to play in staying informed and providing insights and ideas. Join us on January 16 to make a difference!
It has been more than a decade since the Diocese of Grand Rapids has undergone a pastoral planning process. As circumstances have changed and new opportunities have arisen, it has become clear that a new plan is needed to direct us into the future. Pastoral planning seeks to identify fertile ground for future evangelization efforts while addressing critical realities. This process will involve data collection, parish visits, and dialogue to identify challenges facing our parishes, schools, and the diocese, along with exploring opportunities for growth and evangelization.
