All Saints’ Day and Día de los Muertos at Our School
At Corpus Christi, we celebrate All Saints’ Day with Mass and classroom parties. Students are encouraged to dress up as a saint as we honor those who have gone before us into heaven. All you holy men and women, pray for us!
Corpus Christi also celebrates All Souls’ Day by praying for our departed loved ones. Our school has an ofrenda (an altar honoring the dead) and we observe other Mexican cultural traditions associated with Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
