Black History Month at CCCS
During the month of February, we celebrate Black History Month. While each classroom has their own focuses during this month, we as a school are taking an opportunity to learn about and pray for Black saints in the process of canonization. This week, we learned about and are praying for Venerable Mother Mary Lange. Founder of the Oblate Sisters of Providence, Mother Mary Lange dedicated her life to service of the poor and marginalized, even in the face of steep discrimination and prejudice.
