Our Preschool and Elementary Ministry endeavors to create a culture of lifelong faith development which empowers parents, families, and individuals to live their call to holiness and discipleship.

General Information: We offer a variety of religious education classes for children and youth age three years old through twelfth grade to assist parents in echoing the Catholic faith  and sharing the Gospel with their children.  It is the expectation of the Church that we continue to grow in faith throughout our lives. We offer several options at various times (see below) to best meet each family’s needs.

To register, complete the registration form (or do it online) and any additional forms as needed (Medical Action Plan is a form that must be signed by a physician for any child with severe allergies.) Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS): Three Years – Second Grade

CGS is a Montessori-based discipleship class for students age three years through second grade. It follows a hands-on approach that allows students the opportunity to experience religious values while celebrating their uniquely childlike, enthusiastic enjoyment of God. Students must be three years of age by September 1 and be completely toilet trained. Sunday evening and Wednesday afternoon classes are open to three-year-olds through first graders. Wednesday evening classes are open to kindergarteners through second graders.

Elementary School Year Discipleship Classes: Grades 3-5

These traditional classes take place on Wednesday evenings.

Parish Family Gatherings: All Ages!

Parish Family Gatherings are once a month whole community events that draw families together for faith renewal and fellowship. There is a yearly fee of $30 per person or $75 per family, which will include the meal, faith building activities, and breakout sessions for all ages. Retreats to help prepare families for the seasons of Advent and Lent will be included in the five sessions. All Parish Family Gatherings take place the first weekend of the month after the Saturday 5 p.m. Mass.
