St. Joseph’s Table Food Drive and Service Trip

St. Joseph’s Table: March 9–19

On the Solemnity of St. Joseph, it is customary to bless food and give it to the poor. In the weeks before the feast we will collect food for the St. Vincent de Paul Center on a table in front of the statue of St. Joseph in the narthex. Then Fr. Michael will bless the food at the end of the noon Mass on March 19. Parishioners are invited to donate cereal, 1 lb. bags of pinto beans, 1 lb. bags of long grain rice, canned beans, canned vegetables, pasta, spaghetti sauce, and deodorant.

Service Trip to the St. Vincent de Paul Center: March 21

All parishioners are invited to meet at OLL at 6:30 p.m. to load up the donations from St. Joseph’s Table and deliver them to the St. Vincent de Paul Center. There we will help sort and shelve the food, get a tour of the center, and hear about how we can aid the center in its mission to serve the poor.
