Pipe Organ Dedication

Pipe Organ Dedication: All Masses June 7-8

We are overjoyed to announce the dedication of our new pipe organ at Our Lady of the Lake! This magnificent instrument, crafted in The Netherlands, with its 840 pipes and sister to the pipe organ in Dimnent Chapel at Hope College, will enrich our worship and inspire our parish community for generations to come.

Please join us for the dedication at all Masses during Pentecost weekend. The organ will be prominently featured throughout Mass, as will our choir, bell choir, brass quartet, and other instrumentalists!

Details:

Saturday, June 7 at 5:00 p.m. (Violin)

Sunday, June 8 at 9:00 a.m. (Bells & Brass)

Sunday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. (Choir & Brass)

The generous support of our donors made this extraordinary addition to our church possible. We hope you will join us for this inaugural celebration as we give thanks for their partnership and the power of music in our worship of God.

Our fundraising efforts continue as we begin to use the pipe organ regularly. Those who would like to contribute to the total cost of our purchase or the ongoing maintenance and care of our new pipe organ can give online through our secure giving page by clicking the button below.

Thanks To Our Organ Builders

Thank you to Pels & van Leeuwen, an organ-building company in the Netherlands, for originally creating our beautiful organ. We are especially grateful for our organ technicians from the Netherlands, Peter Van der Temple (left) and Tom Bouwman (right), who assembled our organ, and organ tuner, Rochus Van Rumpt (not pictured), who will complete the tuning in mid-May.
