New Staff to Minister to Our Youth
This fall, we’re welcoming two new Discipleship staff members to minister to our youth. Please pray for them and make them feel at home!
Gretchen Catalfamo, Confirmation Coordinator
Gretchen has several years of experience serving as a volunteer Confirmation catechist at OLL. As Gretchen begins serving in this role, we are transitioning to a two-year program for Confirmation preparation. Thus, Gretchen will effectively be our youth leader for middle schoolers (7th and 8th grade).
Rachael Fornarotto, High School Coordinator
Rachael is from the beautiful state of Idaho, and her childhood was complete with a joyful and loving family who shared the tender heart of God the Father. She has been state-jumping between Idaho and Michigan since high school, when she studied theatre at Interlochen Arts Academy, until she graduated from Hope College. Rachael converted to the Catholic Church and has a passion for spreading the joy and freedom of the Gospel. She loves to share the richness of the Catholic faith, especially the power of the Eucharist. With Jesus’ guidance, she is excited to serve with the dedicated staff and generous volunteers at Our Lady of the Lake as the new High School Coordinator.
