Field Trip to Notre Dame
The Lakeshore Academy for the New Evangelization, our parish’s program for adult discipleship, is offering a free field trip to Notre Dame this November in conjunction with its fall class, Our Lady and the Eldest Daughter of the Church. This free tour is a historical and social overview of life at the University of Notre Dame, with visits to the replica Lourdes Grotto, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Main Building (the Golden Dome), and the Hesburgh Library (“Touchdown Jesus”). We will attend the 11:30 a.m. Mass in the crypt of the basilica before adjourning for the day. You do not have to be a LANE student to attend this field trip, but you do have to RSVP by October 31.
