Corpus Christi Campaign

Campaign Questions?
September 24 Update
With the One Community. One Faith. One Future. Capital Campaign for Corpus Christi Catholic School underway, every parish family will receive a packet of information and an invitation to invest in the future of our school. We are pleased to report that the first mailing was sent last week, and our hope is that all our families will choose to participate in this important effort. This mailing often brings to light some common questions. Here are a few worth addressing:
Question: Who is being asked to support the campaign?
Answer: Every parish and school family will be asked to participate in the campaign.
Questions: Why should I/we consider supporting the campaign?
Answer: Throughout the Bible we are reminded that we have been called by the Lord to build his kingdom: “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58). This project doesn’t fall on the shoulders of one family or a few. It is the responsibility of our entire Catholic Community to hear God’s call and to continue to grow his ministry. The obligation rests with everyone to do their part to raise the necessary funding. We all need to identify and make sacrificial and meaningful donations to ensure our school is a success.
Question: Will my pledge be legally binding? Will it be confidential?
Answer: A pledge is not legally binding, but it is a gift which you consider to be meaningful. We ask that you do your best to fulfill your pledge and advise us if any financial changes that will impact your commitment. All pledges will be kept confidential.

Campaign Mailing
September 13 Update
Dear parishioners,
On Sunday, August 20, we officially announced the kickoff of the One Community. One Faith. One Future. Capital Campaign to grow Corpus Christi’s endowment for tuition assistance. In the coming weeks, every parish family will receive a packet of information, which includes a financial request and instructions on how you can invest in the future of our school. In advance of the mailing, we want to express several thoughts regarding this campaign and what is being asked of our families:
- Invitation, Not Expectation: Every family will be asked to consider a specific commitment to the campaign. In some cases, the request may be too high. In some cases, it may be too low. It is not an expectation. It is an invitation—and the starting point for your personal discernment. We are grateful for whatever gifts you can provide.
- Reflect and Pray: In advance of the request, we ask that you spend some time reflecting on our parish school, its future, and how you can help. Pray and ask the Lord for guidance. Give in a way that represents the blessings that you have received.
- Shared Responsibility: This campaign should not be shouldered by one family or a few families. It is the responsibility of the entire Catholic community to ensure this effort is a success. That means generosity and sacrifice—and not just monetarily. We need gifts of time, talent, and prayer, too.
Please go to the campaign website to learn how you can help ensure our school will continue to grow and thrive for generations to come.
Campaign Announcement
After years of hard work, careful planning, and plenty of prayer, Corpus Christi Catholic School is pleased to announce it is moving forward with a capital campaign. In continual collaboration with leaders from Our Lady of the Lake, St. Francis de Sales, and the Corpus Christi Foundation, this generational campaign will ensure our dynamic school is available to all families by growing our endowment for tuition assistance.
The campaign theme of One Community. One Faith. One Future. is fitting because our shared efforts will honor the 100-year legacy of families and parishioners sacrificing together to nurture the knowledge, faith, and character of our children in Holland.
