We are in search of a full-time Administrative Assistant to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of the parish office. This critical staff role is often the main point of contact for parishioners and guests at our parish.
Ideal candidates for this position will have familiarity with our parish community and ministries; strong organizational and technical office skills; and a positive, professional, and courteous attitude as they assist staff, parishioners, and visitors with a variety of tasks.
The Administrative Assistant will open and close the parish office and chapel; manage incoming/outgoing mail; register new parishioners; assist walk-in guests and callers; and record contributions, fees, stipends, and event registrations. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will maintain accurate census, sacramental, and business records with strict confidentiality, and provide basic administrative and technical support for office equipment and systems, parish census and volunteer management software, and various ministry projects.
